Credit cards for my granddad

Every generation has their own style so usually bring generation gap. It can be understand as a consequence of different condition and situation while they are grow up. Of course we will see a great generation gap between our granddad or even daddy with us. It’s not only about the life style but the way of thinking indeed.

I face it with my daddy, actually about the way managing our money. After I work and have my own money, I-myself-have an authority for spending or saving my money. Once he teased me about my credit cards. First, I have lots of cards in my wallet. Nowadays the credit cards issuers give us much easiness to apply it. Every card has it own facilities offered. Second, I was interesting with the rewards offered by the issuers. A lot of transaction using my credit card means a lot of point I have for getting my reward. Third and I say the most important reason is I must use my credit card for my business.

My daddy, have only 1 credit card and I know it belongs to him since I was high school. He never applies to another credit card. He said if 1 card enough for his every transaction, why he must look for another. He seems never interesting with a card advertorial too. Of course, he is not using card for every transaction. He preferred to pay it cash than using his credit card. He only use his card for emergency reason, like pay medicine bills. Never see him using his card only for treat us a dinner in a restaurant or buy something in supermarket. Yes…let say it was a credit card and seniors characteristic. But I actually never see him face difficulty for paying credit cards bill. So, I can say he use his card very wise enough. I actually always able to pay my bill, but sometime I get shocked with my transaction using a card. Sometime, I’m not supposed to use as many as it. For this one, I must learn a lot from my daddy – senior of credit cards.
