lets talk about cookies, i’m sure you’re familiar with this word, did you ever know, what is cookies, and how to setup at your internet browser? let me share with you.If we talk about cookies, we’re talking at internet privacy area, i found this explanation on wiki,

HTTP cookies, sometimes known as web cookies or just cookies, are parcels of text sent by a server to a web browser and then sent back unchanged by the browser each time it accesses that server. HTTP cookies are used for authenticating, tracking, and maintaining specific information about users, such as site preferences or the contents of their electronic shopping carts. The term “cookie” is derived from “magic cookie,” a well-known concept in UNIX computing which inspired both the idea and the name of HTTP cookies.

To configure cookies at your site, there are several step that you have to do

if you’re using mozilla firefox, the steps are:

Go to the “Tools” menu.

Select “Options”.

Select the “Privacy” icon in the left panel.

Check the box corresponding to “Allow sites to set cookies”.

Click “OK” to save changes.
